What do you do for fun? Running! ... well sometimes at least! Taking the dog to the beach, socialising, watching a good movie or reading a good book.. just the normal things.
When did you start running? Roughly 2 years ago I started training for my first half marathon after a bit too much of a good time in my mid 20s, and a bit of weight gain. I didn't train enough and was a rough trot around the first time. But I’ve been hooked ever since.
What time are you aiming for with your next event? Will this be your personal best or your debut at the distance? Hoping to go under 3 hours 30 Minutes for Cadbury marathon, this will be my second marathon (first being Fitzroy falls fire trail marathon in 3.56.51). So it will be a PB if i achieve it... But with it being a summer marathon, and the 250m of elevation gain over the course.. we'll see
Why do you run? General Fitness, and it allows me to enjoy more food without the guilt!, good release of stress, and quite often i just enjoy it!
What is favorite training session? It would have to be between Long runs and mile repeats... There is usually a point in each of these sessions I am hating it! But always feels great if i know I’ve put in at the end.
Do you have long-term goal in running? Continue trying to get faster over the half marathon, and marathon distance, and would love to have a crack at a 100km ultra marathon.
What do you think of Marathon Guru? Good tool to keep track of your progress, and great to have a structured plan to follow.
