What is your age? (Optional) I am 50

What is your job? I am an Executive Assistant. I work for the CEO of AUSCOAL Super.

What do you do for fun? Run, ride, try to play the x-box with my sons – although I am not very good.

When did you start running? I only started 18mths ago to try and lose some weight. I have been successful in losing over 40kgs so far.

What time are you aiming for with your next event? Will this be your personal best or your debut at the distance? I am desperate to break the 2hr mark for the half marathon. I have come close a couple of times but I have really put in the hard yards this time to try and crack it. If I do, it will be a PB for me.

Why do you run? I use running as relaxation. It frees my mind and I can just be me for a while. I lead a hectic life - between working fulltime and caring for my young son who has multiple disabilities.

What is favorite training session? I love running in places that I haven’t been before.

Do you have long-term goal in running? If yes, maybe, you’d like to share? My long term goal is to run a marathon someday. New York or London would be great. They are on my bucket list.

What do you think of Marathon Guru? Fantastic program. It is predicting I will break the 2hr mark in the Blackmores, so I have to have faith!
